August 17, 2009 Agenda

Hi all! I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather. It figures that it's actually starting to act like summer now that it's August!

I just wanted to give you an "agenda". It's nothing formal...just things I have been adding to a list for us to discuss at our first exec board meeting on Monday, 8/17 at 6:30 p.m. at my house (3505 Fox Hunt Drive). I'll have drinks & snacks but if you have a favorite that you want to share, please feel free to do so!

Topics include:
* Exec Board meeting dates, times, location during the school year
* Budget (Diana, please bring whatever you have...whether it's started or not)
* Suggested Dues Donation for 2009-2010 (do we want to leave it as it was or make changes?)
* Calendar (Kevin...any chance we'll have a school calendar by Monday??? LOL ) -- also Box Tops wants to do it in April...ok?
* PTO Website -- what do we want to include on it? Kevin had some suggestions too.
* Constant Contact -- keep it at $300/year (?) or switch to g-mail?
* PTO's involvement in millage vote (can we get involved or not?)
* Friday Folder change suggestion
* King Spirit Wear
* Revised descriptions for Grade Level Reps
* Landscaping issues

Anything else???

I'd like to keep in the spirit of last year's exec board's philosphy and try to keep meetings to about an hour. I won't kick you out though...you're more than welcome to stay and hang out!
